On the occasion of the 100th anniversary of the May 4th Movement, in order to stimulate young students to study the spirit of the red revolution profoundly and commemorate the revolutionary martyrs, on May 18, Youth Poetry Reciting Meeting, themed with “the Flame of May 4th • Patriotism through Poetry Reciting ” was held in the Library, co-sponsored by the Guangdong Provincial Central Library Committee, Guangzhou Young Writers Association, Poetry Creation Committee of Guangzhou Young Writers Association, Poetry Associations Zhujiang College of South China Agricultural University, and South China Agricultural University. 150 representatives from over 20 college associations, students, teachers, writers and friends made their presence here to recall heroic martyrs and practice true patriotism.
